'Human Rights in Tunisia' with Yadh Ben Achour

A discussion between Yadh Ben Achour, former President of the High Authority of the Revolution in Tunisia, Yasmine Ergas, Lecturer at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), and Alfred Stepan, Wallace Sayre Professor of Government (SIPA), on human rights in post-revolution Tunisia.

Guest speaker Mr. Yadh Ben Achour, Professor of Carthage University, former President of the High Authority of the Tunisian Revolution and a member of the U.N. Human Rights Committee is a lead author of the new Tunisian Constitution. Professor Alfred Stepan, Columbia University will introduce Professor Ben Achour and guide the discussion moderated by Professor Yasmine Ergas, SIPA, Columbia University.

The event is sponsored by Columbia Global Centers together with SIPA's Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy Concentration, Gender and Public Policy Specialization and the Human Rights Institute at the Law School.
