The 8th Annual Conference of the Historical Dialogues, Justice & Memory Network is accepting paper submissions now! The conference will be held at Columbia University from December 12-14, 2019.
In addition to papers that specifically address prevention activism, priority will be given to papers that explore the relationship between memory (individual, societal or international) and historical dialogue, and empirical approaches to historical dialogue, with a particular focus on the issue of the efficacy of justice, accoutability and reconciliation mechanisms.
If you're interested in participating, please email a 300-500 word abstract, a 2-3 sentence bio, and contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than June 20th, 2019. The documents should be sent in a single email attachment. The conference is open to scholars and activists from around the world. The conference language is English, no translation available. For more information about specific submission formats, please visit the Historical Dialogues website.
