WGGA team is seeking a research assistant to help work on the designing of an Early Warning System project co-financed by the Open Society Foundations and the IIE-Scholars Rescue Fund. This is a fantastic introduction to the world of gender in academia and gender mainstreaming and an opportunity to contribute to the development of a scalable project.

On April 22, 2022, the Women and Gender in Global Affairs Network at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights and the Permanent Missions of Sweden and Ukraine to the United Nations together with co-sponsors hosted an online discussion on “Responding to the Invasion of Ukraine: The Impact of Feminist Foreign Policies.” The webinar brought together policymakers, analysts, and practitioners to discuss responses to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  Click here to watch a recording of the panel.

Elazar Barkan will be stepping down as Executive Director of the Institute on June 30th and on behalf of faculty, staff, students, and affiliates, ISHR would like to thank him for his many contributions. Professor Barkan joined the Institute in 2006 as Co-director and continued to lead as Director starting in 2008.
