The Fundación Pueblos de Montaña of Bolivia, in cooperation with the Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Program of the Institute for the Study of Human Rights (ISHR), organized a “Seminar on Drafting Complaints and Using United Nations Procedures Against Human Rights Violations”. The Seminar took place via Zoom on May 14th and was addressed to Indigenous Authorities of Bolivia. More than 40 people participated. Professor Elsa Stamatopoulou of ISHR gave the seminar and discussed it with the participants.

The  Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Council  (WGSS) at Columbia University invited 2022-23 Advocate Jade Jacobs-Wort of South Africa and Stephanie V. Grepo, Director of Capacity Building at ISHR, to speak at their May meeting. Jade spoke about their work as the Co-Director and Knowledge and Research Manager at Iranti, a media advocacy organization defending the rights of lesbian, intersex, and transgender persons in Africa while Stephanie provided an overview of HRAP as it relates to gender, LGBTQIA+ issues, women's rights, and Indigenous rights.

The 2023 edition of the Global School of Indigenous Women Leaders took place remotely this year. It was the tenth edition of this unique program. 
The Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Program of the Institute for the Study of Human Rights has been cooperating with FIMI on this program since 2013 and organized a series of weekly seminars for Indigenous women from February to May 2023. The seminars provided a human rights curriculum and gave the opportunity to participants to explore a broad context of human rights topics and advocacy.
