FGM: A Human Rights Issue?

Friday, February 1, 2019 12:15 PM - 2:00 PM

According to the Centers for Disease Control, over half a million girls have undergone or are at risk of female genital mutilation (FGM) in the United States. Join us for a screening of survivor testimonies, an enriching panel on the integration of FGM into broader human rights discourse, and a discussion as well as action items to follow. The event will also be live-streamed on Facebook (see the Eventbrite link below for more information).
