Education Program Assistant - Work Study

Job Description: Work closely with and provide programmatic support to ISHR Education Programs. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimal supervision, excellent writing skills, and experience providing administrative and programmatic support, including event planning. Knowledge of human rights and relevant research skills are strongly preferred.
 
Specific responsibilities may include:
  • Provide programmatic support, prepare program materials, assist in the preparation of education program reports;
  • Conduct program-related research;
  • Maintain program LinkedIn pages and prepare content for program website;
  • Provide assistance with outreach, planning, organization, and running of events;
  • In coordination with the program manager, identify and conduct speaker outreach, draft event blurbs, prepare and disseminate advertising materials, reserve venues, run events.
 
Job Requirements: Excellent organizational and communications skill. Strong attention to detail. Excellent research, writing and editing skills. Must be able to manage tasks and time with minimal supervision. Interest in human rights. Eligible for work study (strictly required). Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required.
